Room 223, Monday Afternoon
Sep. 5th, 2011 07:00 pmNatalie didn't have class on Mondays, but that didn't mean she wasn't studying. Oh no, the classless days of the week had each been assigned a certain amount of work on her independent coursework. Today? French and German.
Or that was the plan, anyway. She was sitting by her desk, at her computer, and had been intending to look up a few additional grammar things online, but hadn't actually gotten further than the Google frontpage. She kept clicking it to watch it again. And again.
She didn't even know why, but a pixelated Freddie Mercury made her feel strangely at home. She was still adjusting to the island and the knowledge that the world didn't work quite the same way here as it had back in Canada, so maybe she needed a little bit of something to alleviate the homesickness she hadn't realized she was feeling.
She was probably going be stuck with a Don't Stop Me Now earworm for a while, but it was worth it. She was actually smiling a little, and didn't even realize.
[ooc: Shades of method RP here, yeah, at least when it comes to getting earwormed. Post and door open!]
