Natalie felt a little better today. A little less like she wanted to crawl out of her own skin. Good enough that she'd felt comfortable making good on her date request from last night.
So, she'd grabbed Sam to head to George Street. The sun had set a good long while ago and it was chilly, but Natalie didn't mind. She was used to worse, honestly, and she knew how to dress for the cold, with a good jacket and a long scarf and gloves. If anything, she liked it. She liked the dark, too, and the way it was permeated by the lights from the various venues along the street. And there was music. She happened to like that, too.
She'd been a little quiet on the walk over, but it was more of a comfortable silence on her part than what she'd offered up yesterday. She wasn't battling a sneaking sense of nausea anymore, the feeling like the world might tilt the wrong way underneath her feet at any moment. She was just... listening to the town, gaze flicking from one pub or bar to the next, wondering about which one to pick.
[ooc: For that dude with eyes dark as night! Up early for timezones and all that jazz.]
