Room 223, Thursday Morning
Jan. 12th, 2012 12:31 pmA pencil had fallen on the floor and rolled underneath the bed, and what Natalie had been trying to do was retrieving said writing utensil so she could keep working on her Business Studies notes. But that's not what happened.
See, when she was peering under the bed and reaching out to grab the pencil, something green scurried by, and before she knew it, her wrist was hurting, and she could have sworn she heard the thing laughing. "Ow!" she exclaimed, pulling her hand back. "You little --"
The gremlin rushed away, back the way it had come, on to new adventures and new people to humiliate. It was pointless to try and grab it and besides, Natalie needed to do something about the pain in her wrist, not to mention the slight woozyness she was feeling.
... Wait. That had been a gremlin. She'd been bitten by a gremlin. Oh, no.
Natalie's last Nat-like thought was spent on scowling at the world at large. And then she was looking up at the clock on the wall, eyes wide.
"Aw, crap, I'm late for work!"
[ooc: Establishy! Although can be open if you really want to run into her on her way out. Whoo my first gremlin bite!]
