Room 223, Sunday Early Evening
Apr. 29th, 2012 10:36 pmNatalie was actually pretty proud of herself, for walking away from the brunch like she had. Not getting along with one of your boyfriend's friends wasn't a reason to be proud, of course, but she'd stayed cool and not let herself get drawn into any kind of a bitchy cat fight with Brid. She felt she deserved some credit for that.
Of course, that meant she ended up spending a considerable portion of the day on her own, but that was fine. She'd had laundry to do, anyway, and a book she'd read only halfway through, not to mention things for the impending move. She'd been fine. Even now, she was rearranging stuff in her desk drawers in a way that would make them easy to move to another room in a few days.
And maybe wondering whether Brid was off the island yet. But she'd tell no one about that.
[ooc: Door and post open!]
