Room 227, Friday Afternoon
Dec. 21st, 2012 07:27 pmWell, Natalie's all-encompassing sadness had settled into a hollow, numb sort of feeling by now. It wasn't great, but she could live with it. Or around it, maybe, like a sore spot you tried not to poke at. It also meant it was time to brave Montreal. She had her succinct answers for her parents' inevitable questions thought out, and she had a portal scheduled for later today, with no return date locked down. She'd play it by the ear and see which place felt better for her right now.
So, all there was to do was to pack, so she was doing that. Clothes and books and her presents for her parents. If she was getting anyone else anything, they'd be post-Christmas presents from Montreal. She figured she'd need to kill time and keep herself busy, so shopping might happen. Something to amuse Jace, and maybe a book on politics and people getting defeated into coins at inopportune times for Peter. And nothing for the one whose present would have been the most important one just a week ago or so.
Mr. Moxy was helping her pack by trying to play with one of her shirts. Because he was a helpful guy like that. Natalie could have sworn he'd been trying to be extra playful this week. Cats were intuitive, weren't they?
Sigh.
[ooc: Post and door open, your last chance to talk to Natalie until... some time around New Year's, idk yet.]
