Room 227, Sunday Afternoon
Feb. 17th, 2013 07:21 pmNatalie was going home. For a few days. She figured holding out until after Valentine's Day and her birthday was enough so that it wouldn't look like running away. Or feel like it, which was probably more important.
It kind of still was exactly that.
But Portalocity had tried to sell her a discount ticket to Seattle, today. And that was just ––
No.
So yes, she was packing. Not just for the couple of days at home, though. No, she was taking out crap from her closet, too. There was a lot of unnecessary stuff just taking up space, and she didn't want it around anymore. And then there was some stuff that she knew she wouldn't need again in Fandom. Spring of her senior year. She wouldn't be here forever.
It might have led to gloomy thoughts, if not for Mr. Moxy who insisted on taking part in packing. Mostly by climbing into her suitcase.
"You're a dummy, you know that, Mox?"
