Another plus side of the multiversal time difference between Natalie's homebases in Brazil and Canada? She was finding it could be awfully convenient for cheating at some things. Like say, dealing with the effects of a weird weekend a little more quickly (in some people's eyes) than she might have otherwise. As she returned to Ribeirao Preto, it had been about six days since the weekend in Fandom, but for her? It had been about three weeks. It had been about two or one and a half since she'd stopped getting distracted by inconvenient daydreams.
She'd had some exams and worked on some essays.
She'd spent a lot of time around Scott.
Also it seemed that she was now in a band, with Scott and Stephen Stills. Exactly the kind of thing that made it easier to let go of That Weekend. She was finding most of the details were already eluding her, anyway, fading from memory. It was an island thing, she supposed. And a blessing. Because it meant that as soon as she got home, she could devote her focus to catching up on the last couple of days' worth of Hegemony affairs without any unnecessarily personal thoughts towards the Hegemon.
