Envy had spent most of the day in meetings over video chat. One of the last things she'd done before coming to Brazil had been to re-assemble and streamline her team in New York, letting the last of the more Gideon-minded people go. She was rebuilding the Envy enterprise in her own image, so to speak.
And now the team was working on getting a European tour together, while also figuring things out on how to play the multiversal angle more. Shows were being planned, contacts into distant worlds were being made.
It was about equally as rewarding as it was exhausting.
And when Envy sat down at the piano at the end of the day, it wasn't to work. She had new songs brewing in the back of her mind, sure, always working thoughts into music, but right now? She just wanted to play something to soothe her.
