Room 227, Sunday Early Evening
Natalie wasn't the type to really beam much after she'd done something she was maybe a little proud of. That just went against the kind of person she was.
But since she lived with a guy who could sense emotions, there was at least one person who could probably tell she was pleased enough with herself. It had been a while since the showcase had ended, but as she stood by her desk, opening up the little box of treats from home her parents had sent her for Canada Day, she was still feeling the after effects of performing.
She didn't think it was something she could get used to, but she did think she liked it.
[ooc: For he who knows he's about to get a new pet.]

Another highly expressive shrug.

He'd just gotten some intense vibes from her during some of that song.

"Knowing doesn't mean I don't want to be reminded," she told him. "And since you're interpreting the song as personal, don't you think it might not have been easy to perform something like that, then?"

He crossed his arms.

In fact, she'd originally aimed for playful, with that. She took his hand, gave it a light squeeze.

This was why she didn't usually even try for playful.

"Why?" she asked, softly.
