Room 223, Monday Afternoon

Natalie had survived her first Fandom High Parents Weekend. It really wasn't much of an accomplishment when she hadn't had any guests of her own, but whatever. She gathered it was still some kind of a landmark, even if she'd spent the majority of it just reading and watching stuff on her own. She just liked it better that way.

And hey, she'd still managed to get what she supposed was a variation of the 'if you hurt him' speech from Sam's friends, so that was something.

But now it was Monday, and it was time to get back into gear. And for Natalie, this meant sitting on her bed with a cup of coffee, studying German from the book in front of her.

She led such an exciting life.

Natalie kissed him back. It was easy to do, really. Easier than a lot of things were for her.

She was pleased, in her own secret way.

Sam was pretty pleased too even if there were parts of him that were still a little hesitant and unsure. He was ignoring those parts of him for the moment because this felt nice.

So, it looked like they were about done with the talking portion of the afternoon and were moving on to making out. Sam could live with that.

He really, really could.

Natalie could, too. Talking was unnecessary, at this point. Their mouths had better things to do, and any and all uncertainties could just be left be for the time being.

And learning German could wait. Natalie was choosing to learn more about the feel of his lips, instead.

She thought it was a fairly sound decision under the circumstances.
