Not that Envy, at least, had had even half a mind to appreciate it all much at all, last night. The day had been long, much longer than she'd anticipated. Not really in the sense of the hours, although those had also been many, but the...
Well.

He got out of bed. Stretched.

Envy made absolutely no effort to not look like a rapt audience. While, granted, still looking lazy and content in the process.

And began to walk to the bathroom.

She could bide her time, see.

Who'd blink first? Who knew.

But Envy wasn't really thinking of it in those terms. Just slowly sat up and stretched a little.

Eventually, the tap running again for the rinse.
Peter took his damned time.

Quietly, though not on purpose. That was just how her bare feet against the floor were.

He took a moment to consider himself in the mirror. What next? A shower? How much longer would this game keep being fun?

Or at least she was waiting to see if she'd hear it, before making any decisions, after coming to a stop right by the door.

And so he did, in fact, pad to the shower, and turned on the water.

She did, in fact, make an actual effort to be quiet about opening the door, this time.

If he heard her, he didn't respond.

She also made no secret of her presence after stepping up behind him. Sliding her arms around him was kind of a dead giveaway, after all.
no subject
He didn't seem startled.
