Despite some major bumps along the way, this Spring Break week had righted itself eventually, even if it hadn't been without a lot of painful past things discussed. Natalie supposed that was something you did when you wanted your relationship to be about more than just hanging out.

Not that that made it any easier.

But waking up seemed to be easy today, at least in the sense that coming into consciousness wasn't immediately followed by being metaphorically hit in the face with the mistakes of days past. With a sigh, she covered the arm around her with her own, and slid her fingers between Sam's. This morning was already better than the previous one had been.

"I'm not even doing anything," Natalie told him quietly. While her fingertip brushed lightly over his lips again, yes.

"You're touching me," Sam pointed, trying to kiss her finger again. "That's all it takes. I'm easy, you know."

"Should I stop touching you?"

She doubted that.

[necroslacker]

"Why do you wanna do that?" Sam asked, sighing and moving to actually rest his dead on her chest. She couldn't stop touching him now. So there.

Natalie chuckled quietly, and he probably felt it as much as he heard it.

She brushed her fingers back and forth through his hair. "I asked you if I should."

[necroslacker]

"You shouldn't." See, he could give her the right answer to her question. "I feel pretty safe right now."

And that was a huge compliment at this point in his life.

"Safe?" she asked, with a little smile down at him even if he couldn't see it. "Well, I guess few dangers lurk around when you're laying on top of your girlfriend."

"And I'm sure you could manhandle those dangers if you wanted to," he said, picking his head up and giving her another light kiss. And then another. "How strong are you, exactly?"

Curiosity!

"Strong." Wasn't that specific? Whatever, she was distracted by the kisses and trying to repay them. "Strong enough that if we move, we probably won't need to ask anyone to help with furniture."

[necroslacker]

He kept kissing her even while he tried to keep asking question because it was fun to see her try and answer and kiss him at the same time.

"That's pretty strong," he admitted with a little smile before kissing her again. "Do you get points when you manhandle me?"

He was still being playful and still trying to kiss her.

"Maybe a couple here and there," Natalie murmured against his lips, not really caring if the words weren't enunciated all that clearly. Because kisses. "Do you think you'd get points for liking it when I manhandle you?"

Oh like she hadn't noticed.

"It's kinda hot," he said, going in for a longer kiss so he could say those words against her mouth. "Do you think it's weird that I like it?"

"No." She tried nipping at his lip. "People like weirder things than being pushed around."

Plus, he was a necromancer. You had to put things into perspective.

"I think it's more that you know what you want and you use your skills to get it," Sam explained, smirking at that nip at his lip. "And usually when you push me around, it's for good reasons."

[whenshewasnice]

"Mmhmm." Since he'd smirked, she caught his lip between her teeth for a slightly longer moment, then licked over the same spot once she released it. "Define good reasons."

[necroslacker]

"Sexy reasons," Sam said, wondering if that was a good enough definition. He didn't really care when she was doing that to his lip and he liked it. "Naughty reasons."

Natalie let out a quiet snicker, and reached up for a kiss that made her words mumbled.

"Those probably count as frustrated reasons, too."

"Aw, are you saying I make you frustrated?" Sam asked, mumbling his words out as well. "And that's why you sometimes push me around with your unspecified amounts of strength?"

"Occasionally yes," Natalie murmured. "Sometimes you need a little push."

[necroslacker]

"Are you frustrated right now?" Samm asked, ducking down to give her lower lip a light lick. "Feeling like giving me a push right now?"

[whenshewasnice]

"Right now? I'm pretty comfortable." But who knew how long that would last. Or whether she was even telling the truth. She could be tricky like that. "No pushing."

[necroslacker]

"No pushing," he murmured, ducking down and giving her several light kisses just because he could. "I'm pretty comfortable too. You're a surprisingly comfortable pillow. And it helps that I can do this --"

He pushed his hips against hers slowly, staying flush against her for a few seconds before smirking at her.

Natalie knew she could've suppressed the little groan that ensued. But, wickedness had to be repayed, or something, and she knew he liked her noises.

"Weird thing to do to a pillow," she drawled.

[necroslacker]

"Don't make me feel weird," Sam said, laughing and nipping her chin for that one. He did slip one hand down her side as subtly as he could. He shifted just a bit, giving himself some space to stroke his fingers down her stomach and towards her thigh.

"Make me feel weird and I might not do anything to you," Sam added, giving her chin another kiss.

"How could I make you feel weird?" Natalie asked, and was actually quite proud of herself for the logic she was about to show off. Under the circumstances, shivering a bit and wanting to chuckle at the kisses on her chin, she thought it was an admirable feat. "You are weird."

It didn't sound like a bad thing.
