Despite some major bumps along the way, this Spring Break week had righted itself eventually, even if it hadn't been without a lot of painful past things discussed. Natalie supposed that was something you did when you wanted your relationship to be about more than just hanging out.

Not that that made it any easier.

But waking up seemed to be easy today, at least in the sense that coming into consciousness wasn't immediately followed by being metaphorically hit in the face with the mistakes of days past. With a sigh, she covered the arm around her with her own, and slid her fingers between Sam's. This morning was already better than the previous one had been.

"Would it be yours?" he asked, pushing himself up to look down at her now. "We can do things you wanna do, you know. I don't mind."

"Eh, maybe later," Natalie replied, and she would've shrugged if the circumstances had allowed for it. There was a little smile on her on lips. "We're not in a hurry to leave, are we?"

Sam leaned down and kissed that smile, letting himself linger there. "We're not in a hurry, nope. There's still time to...well, we still have to decide what to do with that time."

"So, something where we don't have to leave the bed," Natalie murmured, pretending to give that some serious thought. "Hmm. I'm drawing a blank."

No, she wasn't.

[necroslacker]

"Are you?" He didn't think she was drawing a blank either. He kissed her again anyway. "I doubt that. You're the woman with big ideas this morning."

[whenshewasnice]

"Maybe I used up all my big ideas already," she suggested, reaching up to better respond to his kisses. "It was a major one, after all."

[necroslacker]

"I'm a slacker," he mumbled against her lips. "You shouldn't expect me to have big ideas at all. It's major enough that I'm awake and active right now."

"You're also a teenaged guy," she murmured, amused. "And all over me. I think some ideas should come pretty naturally. I know from experience they have before."

[necroslacker]

"Past experience?" Sam asked, feigning confusion. "And just what past experience are you referring to?"

[whenshewasnice]

Natalie rolled her eyes at him. "You know what I'm talking about," she said. "Skin to skin like in your dreams."

Yeah, she was going to make it known that she remembered him admitting that.

"Hey, I told you that in confidence, not so you could use it against me," he said and nipped at her chin. "Besides, we're skin to skin right now."

Natalie resisted the urge to point out that anything said in confidence inherently included the risk of it getting used against you later.

"There was something about heavy breathing too," she replied instead. "None of that right now."

[necroslacker]

"I could touch the back of your knee," Sam teased, moving his leg against hers because he could. "I bet that'd get you breathing heavily."

[whenshewasnice]

"I told you that in confidence," Natalie parroted at him. Just to be bratty. Or playful. "But you're not wrong."

"So, you want me to give the back of your knee some attention?" Sam asked, looking down at where his leg was moving against hers. "I could."

[whenshewasnice]

Natalie shifted her leg against his, just a bit. "That's such a weird question." Even though it was her body, she could still acknowledge that much. "And doesn't sound very fulfilling for you."

Oh, look at her, being the concerned lover.

Sam snickered and shook his head lightly, amused. "So, you wanna do it the old fashioned way, hmm?"

He could get behind that. Or behind her. Wait no, that was a dirty thought and he tried to shake it away for a second.

Natalie snickered. It might have been for noticing he was probably trying not to think something. "Yeah," she nodded up at him, "I guess I do."

She definitely did.

Sam pretended to think about it for...two seconds before he said, "Okay," and swooped down to capture her mouth in a deep, hard kiss.

See, he definitely wanted to do things the old fashioned way as well.

Natalie could tell. It could be inferred from that pretty aggressive kiss which she was responding to with about as much eagerness. Last morning in Brazil, make it count, all that.

She even slid her leg along his again for some little movement.

They'd spent two long days avoiding each other which meant they didn't do this and after the breakthroughs they made last night, he wanted to take advantage of what he thought was newfound closeness.

He let more of his weight rest against her and kept kissing her deeply. It was an aggressive kiss, no doubt, but he wasn't going to rush into making this a quickie. He'd stretch it out if he could.

Well, he was in charge right now (even if Natalie could indeed have overpowered him in about two seconds if she'd wanted to) so he was probably going to get his wish there. And it helped that Natalie was thinking along the same lines.

She hummed approvingly when she felt more of his weight settle on her, shifting just a bit underneath him.

Sam softened the kiss a touch before he actually pulled away entirely, letting a mischievous smirk cross his face as he did. He wasn't totally still and that smirk was there for a reason.

With more of his weight settled on top of her, he could actually give his hips a press into hers, letting that heavy weight arouse them both even more then they were currently were.

And he wanted to tease a bit.

Natalie made one of those little sounds of surprise and pleasure that she tended to let slip sometimes. In times like this. And her hips tried pushing up and against his a bit more, because that was just natural.

And she bit her bottom lip, looking up at him, and it was a purposefully seductive expression because sometimes she could tease too.

That was just unfair. He couldn't tell if she was doing it on purpose or not but it was effective nonetheless. He moaned quietly and had to lean down to kiss that look for a second or two.

His lips didn't stay there long before they'd found their way to her neck, open mouthed and hot, sucking and licking at the smooth, pale skin there. She hadn't tanned much in Brazil and he liked that. He liked her skin how it was and he wanted to kiss every single inch of it right now.
